The story behind Pee-Wee Quebec — and why this trip matters so much to our players and families.
The 2014 AAA St Louis Blues birth year team is working toward earning a spot at the prestigious 2027 Pee-Wee Quebec International Hockey Tournament — one of the most celebrated youth hockey events in the world — taking place February 10–21, 2027 in Quebec City, Canada.
To help make this once-in-a-lifetime experience possible for our players and families, we are seeking community partners who share our commitment to youth athletics, teamwork, and excellence. Every contribution — whether through sponsorship, tournament registration, or the Alumni Reunion — directly supports our players' journey to Quebec City.
A Championship Legacy
Our organization has stood on this ice before. In 2009, the St. Louis Blues 1996 birth year team brought home the championship at the Pee-Wee Quebec International Hockey Tournament — the very same event our 2014 team is working toward competing in this February. That title remains a proud piece of our program's history, and a reminder of what's possible when a group of St. Louis players gets the chance to compete on this stage.
A brief history of the tournament our team is heading to.
The Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament has run every year since 1960. The 2027 event will be its 67th edition.
It holds the distinction of being the world's largest minor hockey tournament, drawing teams from numerous countries.
The 2026 edition alone drew over 225,000 spectators — a testament to the scale and community excitement around this event.
The tournament runs roughly 12 days across multiple arenas, combining elite competition with cultural exchange, billeting, and team travel experiences.
